Club Cleanup’s

I’ll be posting details of club cleanups when they reach me (stuart) to let me know:

IPSWICH KNIGHTS
Eric Evans Oval, Bundamba
Knights clean just started. Will probably go through until at least Saturday.
If anyone can assist please bring covered footwear and gloves.

Mops buckets pressure washes any cleaning equipment would be appreciated.

WESTERN SPIRIT

Due to the total inundation of our clubhouse at Kippen Park Goodna, we will be have a working bee to clean up clubhouse and fields on Sunday 16 January commencing at 8.30am.

Please bring rakes, shovels, gloves, trailers, wear protective shoes, hats, aerogard, drink bottle, mops, buckets etc. For further info please contact Wicko on 0418 198 072.

EASTERN SUBURBS

Hi Guys , I was asked by Lex Donsky to post this on behalf of EASTS FC

As many of you know – Easts FC were inundated by flood waters over the last few days, a call to arms to assist our football fraternity.
Easts are commencing their clean up on Saturday morning at 9 am after their clubhouse being totally inundated by water. .
Any amount of time you can give on Saturday morning will be greatly appreciated.

Things to bring if you have them:
– Generator (can you let me know if you have this)
– Cleaning gear – disinfectant
– Mops
– Buckets
– Wheelbarrows
– High Pressure Cleaners
– Shovels
– Rakes
– Garbage Bags
– Trailers
– Brooms

– No sense of smell

Please make sure you wear appropiate footwear ( No Thongs ) and if you have gloves please bring them ..

CHURCHIE

Football Brisbane has been advised there will be meetings held tomorrow morning at the following schools to assist with flood victims in the school catchments.
9.00am – Graceville State School – 23 Acacia Avenue Graceville
10.00am – Oxley State School – Bannerman Street, Oxley
Anyone wishing to assist in the  clean up  in these flood affected areas are welcome. However, it is requested that they first register online as volunteers either through the City Council or Volunteering Qld sites. This will enable you to be covered for insurance purposes (see link for information  Volunteering Qld  – Insurance Information) and provide further information on what you need to be prepared.
