Raiders appoint new boss

TOOWOOMBA Raiders will play with a European influence in the Brisbane Men’s Premier League Division One competition next year following the appointment of David Ballay as coach.

Ballay takes over from Mick Turvey after guiding the Raiders reserve grade team to the grand final this year.

The 38-year-old, who is getting married tomorrow in the Gold Coast Hinterland, moved to Toowoomba from Paris four years ago and likes playing European-style football.
