Women’s Premier Cup now to be known as The Elaine Watson Cup

Football Brisbane is recognising the services of a stalwart of football by renaming the Women’s Premier Cup in her honour.
This distinguished lady has been involved in our sport at all levels of the game from Coach to President of the Oceania Women’s Soccer Confederation Football Brisbane has therefore decided to rename the Women’s “Premier Cup”, to hence forth be known as “The Elaine Watson Cup” in honour of Ms Elaine Watson.
We thank Elaine for her many years of selfless service and hope this small token shows our appreciation for the work she has completed and continues performing to this day.

  • Millennium Sports Medal – 2000
  • Confederation of Australia Sports Award of Merit – 1992
